Nick brings more than 20 years of experience in the mining, civil, and  construction industries across Queensland. As General Manager of Markwell Group, he oversees all operational, safety, and strategic functions of one of North Queensland’s most respected plant hire and earthmoving businesses.

Throughout his career, Nick has managed end to end plant operations, delivered complex shutdowns, improved production rates, built high performing crews, and upheld strict safety and environmental standards across multiple remote and regional sites.

His background includes extensive hands on experience in crushing plants, stacking circuits, heavy mobile equipment, and large fleet coordination. Nick has led major operational improvements by streamlining processes, restructuring teams, and implementing clear reporting and accountability systems that lift performance across all divisions.

At Markwell Group, Nick is focused on driving results across crushing, screening, and both wet and dry hire operations. He plays a key role in equipment procurement, supplier negotiations, and workforce development, ensuring the company continues to deliver reliable plant, skilled operators, and high quality outcomes for clients throughout North Queensland.

Wayne has dedicated more than 25 years to the Markwell Group, including 20 years in senior management, making him one of the longest serving and most respected members of the team. His extensive experience in the demolition industry, particularly in the safe and efficient removal of asbestos, has positioned him as a trusted leader within the business.

As a qualified Demolition Nominated Supervisor, Wayne holds all required certifications to safely manage and oversee Friable Asbestos Removal. He is also highly experienced in operating a wide range of demolition machinery, ensuring every project is delivered with accuracy, control, and full compliance with all safety standards.

Don brings more than 20 years of experience in road transport and mining logistics to his role at Markwell Group, where he leads all hire operations. He is a highly process focused leader dedicated to operational excellence, workplace safety, and best practice management across the business.

His expertise spans contract negotiation, project planning, heavy equipment utilisation, process improvement, safety leadership, and mining logistics. Don works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
