Superior Maintenance

Constant attention to preventative maintenance is a key element of our business. All operators are instructed in pre-start and shutdown checks to ensure equipment is in optimum condition and safe to operate. Again, training is an important element of our workshop operations, with specialised equipment training provided by dealer training personnel.

Our maintenance facilities include an 800sqm fully equipped workshop, capable of carrying out all types of repairs, and mobile service vehicles are available for field repairs and maintenance.

Superior Safety Standards

All Markwell Group equipment is carefully checked before being delivered to a customer to ensure it is in a safe operating condition and meets all statutory safety requirements. On delivery of a dry hire machine to a site, we provide a full machine induction and additional training for operators who may be unfamiliar with the type or model supplied.

All Markwell Group employees, whether they are maintenance crews, operators or truck drivers undergo full safety inductions. Our in-house documentation includes defect-reporting procedures, while meeting all statutory reporting requirements such as a logbook completion and accident notification.

Safety is of paramount importance to our business and we conduct a full review of all accidents and incidents as part of our aim to constantly improve safety standards.

Superior Operators

While a large part of our plant hire is on a dry hire basis, fully experienced operators are available if required.

As part of our on-going commitment to employing the most competent staff at Markwell Plant Hire, our in-house quality system includes instructions on staff selection and on-going training with induction, safety and systems operating procedures in place. In addition, job-specific induction procedures are in place to meet the requirements of individual projects. As a result of these procedures, only fully trained operators are sent to your projects.
